Las Rocas Playa Hotel

The staff are all amazing, with special praise and thanks to Carlos on Reception for his very kind attention and Vincenze in the dining room who made the meal very special. The location was just right for us as it is just by the beach, which is marvellous as it's nice and sandy. It is a bit of a walk into town from hotel, but it's along a very lovely Promenade, and the walk is worth it. Breakfast is wonderful, we highly recommend it. A wide choice and as much as you can eat. We also had dinner there and again, a very high standard. It was our second visit, we we'll definitely be back.

We loved the location near the promenade with easy walking into the lovely little town. The hotel was clean and bright and our room and bathroom was spacious, the bed was extremely comfortable and it offered us a lovely view over the bay. For an additional 9 euros we had secure parking in the adjacent garage. We went for a walk on arrival and due to the generous 12 noon check out we were able to explore the beautiful little harbour again in the morning. Such interesting architecture! The continental buffet breakfast was plentiful. We would Definately recommend for a night before a Bilbao or Santander ferry departure and do take time to explore the harbour area.

Loved the property, the facilities and the location . Reception staff were excellent as was the young lady in cafeteria .

Our second trip to Las Rocas. The staff were super friendly and helpful (even searching out a bar so I could watch the Rugby). It is located really well, close to the beach but at one end of it so it's not overcrowded. It's only a short walk into town. The secure parking was a few meters away, the room was comfortable with a modern ensuite. The evening meal was lovely and the breakfast plentiful. An amazing find and the half board price fantastic value.

A superb hotel in fantastic location. We paid for a deluxe room with balcony and had the most amazing sea view and lovely large balcony. Room was fabulous, breakfast buffet perfect, varied and plentiful. Reception staff were very helpful and all spoke good English as sadly our Spanish isn’t good. Thankyou for a wonderful stay.
